It's hard to believe that come May, it will have been 25 years since we were all together at Brooks. In some ways, it feels like just yesterday we carried our books through the Link to Saturday classes, snuck down to the lake or hung out on the Green Machine. In other ways, it feels like a lifetime ago! Think for a moment about what made your Brooks experience meaningful: Was it a lifelong friendship you forged? Was it your relationship with your advisor? Or was it a learning experience that inspired your future path?
Regardless of what it was, we want all of you to return to Brooks on May 12-13, 2017, to celebrate our 25th reunion! Click here
for more information about programming over reunion weekend, including information on room blocks at local hotels. Because reunion takes place while school is in session, there isn't the option to stay on campus anymore. We know, we know, you were just dying to stay the weekend in Blake House with the communal showers, but we thought it would be fun to congregate together at the DoubleTree by Hilton Boston/Andover. It has a nice lounge where we can gather for drinks before heading over to campus. Brooks is providing a shuttle service, so we don't have to worry about navigating the back roads around the lake. The DoubleTree offers a Brooks discount rate and we think it will be a great home base for the class of 1992!
Highlights of the weekend are: a class dinner for us Friday night, an all Alumni dinner Saturday night. On Saturday, we will have the opportunity to visit classes, listen to speakers and cheer on Brooks sports team and maybe even sneak off for a Harrison's run.
We will be in touch in the coming weeks and months with more details, so dust off your yearbooks, find that box of embarrassing photos and get excited! We would love to have more help on the reunion committee, so if you are game, please contact Kim Fox at firstname.lastname@example.org
or any of us on the reunion committee.
For some of us, we keep in touch through Facebook or Instagram, which is great, but it doesn't compare with being together in person. Even though it's early, we already have about 25 people planning on coming! We hope you will join us in May!
