Dear Brooks Alumni,
Greetings from the Brooks alumni board. The alumni board had very busy and productive year in 2015-2016. During the course of the year, we successfully implemented a new committee structure: nominations, events, careers, giving and class volunteers. Importantly, each committee recorded some meaningful accomplishments, including the selection of nine new members, a career networking event in Boston, an alumni event that at the charity Cradles to Crayons and the highly successful giving day this past February. These early successes should act as a nice springboard as our committees take on greater initiatives that help bring out alumni base closer together.
The alumni board is a group of Brooks alums who volunteer their time to help strengthen the connection of the school to the alumni base. We are continually interested in hearing from our classmates and friends about great ideas for us to undertake and also for recommendations of future members of our board. We are always on the hunt for those who are willing to volunteer their time. If you are interested in joining the alumni board, please contact me or email@example.com
Finally, the board benefits from a front row seat on the happenings of Brooks School. While many things have changed since I graduated almost 25 years ago, much remains the same. Head of School John Packard, the faculty and staff continue to make Brooks a very special place.
President, Alumni Board
