Brooks’ boys 1st basketball will hit the road to take on their challenger, top-seeded St. Mark’s School at 3:30 p.m.

The team, seeded eighth, “works hard, stays together and tries to get a little better every day,” said head coach Kenya Jones, 2025 NEPSAC Class B Co-Coach of the Year.

Earning a playoff spot has been a highlight of the season for the injury-plagued team that Jones describes as “resilient” and tightly connected.

“Seeing them push through that and put themselves in a position to compete in the postseason is a testament to their toughness,” he said.

The team had a “Truly Special” Championship Run in 2025.

“They genuinely enjoy being around each other off the court and that naturally carries over to how they play together in games. At the end of the day, they’re just really good kids beyond basketball and I’m proud of the people they are as much as the players they’ve become.”
