Lacrosse standout Isabela Miller ’20 was named to the All-Patriot League First Team roster after a record-setting junior-year campaign at the College of the Holy Cross, the school announced on April 29.
Miller started in all 17 games this year for the Crusaders, posting 40 goals and 50 assists, breaking the single-season record for the program in both points and assists. She also leads the Patriot League in assists per game and sits third in the league for points per game.
Her career totals of 86 goals and 76 assists for 162 points ranks her second all-time at Holy Cross in assists and eighth all-time in points.
Miller currently ranks sixth in the nation in total points this season and eighth in assists.
At Brooks, the North Andover native was a captain of both the lacrosse and field hockey teams as a sixth former, a letter winner in ice hockey and helped the field hockey team capture a NEPSAC championship in 2018.
This success and recognition comes as no surprise to one of Miller’s Brooks lacrosse coaches, Carly Churchill ’10. “Isabela was a positive force on attack from the first time she stepped on the field,” said Churchill. “Her stick skills, field awareness and hustle still stick out to me. It’s been so fun to watch her excel to even greater heights at the college level!”
