Before she went off to Boston College, Molly Driscoll ’23 told the Brooks Bulletin, "I’m excited to play lacrosse with amazing teammates and have a high level of competition around me." Fast forward to this spring, and she’s the one raising the level of play.

Named to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) second team last month, the junior attacker reached a career milestone in March when she recorded two goals and an assist against the University of Pittsburgh and achieved her 100th career point in 57 games.
Now, Driscoll is taking her skills to the NCAA Division I Women's Lacrosse Championship on May 8.
The #19 BC Eagles earned an at-large berth and will play #21 Yale University in the first round. (In 2025, BC reached the semifinals before falling to Northwestern University in a heartbreaking 12-11 loss).

Since her start at BC, Driscoll has been making an impact. As a freshman, she played in all 23 games, recording 11 goals and five assists. As a sophomore, she took a huge leap, posting 39 goals and 15 assists for a total of 54 points.
Through 16 games this year, she led the team in assists (21) and points (51) and game-winning goals (3), among other categories, which ranks first on her team.

At Brooks, Driscoll was a three-sport athlete in field hockey, ice hockey and lacrosse. She was named All-ISL in all three during her fifth- and her sixth-form years.

She was an All-American in lacrosse in 2022 and, before graduating, she was named a National Field Hockey Coaches Association All-Region player and NEPSAC Class C Player of the Year in lacrosse, in addition to earning 2023 Boston Globe Athlete of the Year recognition.

For all her success, though, Driscoll has said that she expected to play ice hockey, not lacrosse, in college, and gave much of the credit to Brooks for readying her to play lacrosse at a high level. "Playing against a lot of good teams in the ISL and in the NEPSAC, and having great coaches here at Brooks, has definitely prepared me," she said before departing Great Pond Road. "Brooks helped me so much."
