GIVING DAY 2018 | RESULTS
An amazing 752 Brooks community members donated a total of $193,580 to the Brooks Fund -- nearly two gifts per each current student.
Of yesterday's donors, 724 were alumni competing in our interscholastic challenge against The Governor's Academy. A total of 688 Govs alumni participated in the challenge, thus: The Brooks flag will fly on the Govs campus once again!
The class participation race was tight throughout the day. In fact, the participation level for the classes of 1975 and 2010 is tied at 59 percent, so we will award both classes a chair plaque in the new Center for the Arts' auditorium.
Each one of yesterday's donors left a mark on this community. Our gratitude is heartfelt; we can't thank our volunteers and our donors enough. Go Brooks!
Already a donor?
If you have already given this year, thank you for your gift! We encourage you to consider another nominal gift on Giving Day, as only gifts made on February 13 count toward the grand total, as well as toward the competition against Governor’s Academy and the competition against other classes. Your additional gift will inspire others to give as well!
Where does my gift go?
Every gift made on Giving Day goes toward the Brooks Fund, which currently accounts for roughly ten percent of our operating budget funding every element of everyday life on campus from classroom supplies to athletic equipment.
