Overview

Soccer - Boys 3rd Team

Each year, a player's experience is best measured by the bonds that are formed and the closeness of the team. This process of “team building” is a primary focus from the start of pre-season training through the final days in November. Raising the level of “teamness” is every bit as important as raising the level of play.

We have magnificent training and match facilities at Brooks. Each of the three teams in the program has their own pitch. Additionally, there are three back-to-back-to-back penalty areas as well as 40 X 60 yards of grids. All of the training equipment necessary for a rigorous daily program is available.

We believe that our training program is unparalleled in terms of player, team and personal development. Four days a week (in addition to the two match days) 90 to 120 minute training sessions are spirited, competitive and fun. Tactical, technical and fitness components are included daily. We prepare specific tactical plans for each upcoming opponent and evaluate each match thoroughly, with individual and team ratings.

We aspire to produce fundamentally sound players and teams. We believe in strong collective defending and creative play in the front third. Most importantly, we design training so that players learn to solve problems on the pitch, individually and collectively. The manifold success of our players at the college level and beyond is the best advertisement for our program. We firmly believe that Brooks represents one of the best combinations of a superior academic program and an elite soccer experience for our students.
