Overview
Football - Boys 2nd Team
The Brooks Football program is in the midst of an exciting time in its storied history. The 2nd team competes in the 16-school Independent School League. The team plays its home games on Anna K. Trustey Memorial Field, a synthetic grass field that was completed in 2014 and is the finest venue in the league.
The program aims to teach its members to prepare and play with great effort and intelligence. The football field is an extension of the classroom. Brooks Football players will hopefully learn as much about themselves and about life from playing football as they do from any other one area at the school. Within this process, the team will experience the joy of success and be rewarded for their hard work.
Brooks Football players have gone on to play in the Ivy League, the Patriot League, the NESCAC, and at a number of other excellent colleges throughout the country. Brooks alums have also competed at the highest level of college football, at schools such as Penn State, BYU, Boston College and West Point. For those interested in continuing to play at the college level, Brooks football will prepare them for the challenge.
