UPDATE (March 26, 2020):
Considering the recent CDC recommendations and restrictions placed on many cities, we have decided to postpone Alumni Weekend. We will be in touch when we have information about a future date to invite you back to campus to celebrate with your classmates.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out. For those of you who have already registered for the weekend, we will be in touch. Specific questions can be directed toward the member of our office handling your class, listed below. Hello class of 2015,
The countdown is on for our five-year reunion this May! Can you believe it? Seems like just yesterday we were playing Assassin in the hallways of the Link ... Wow, those were the days. Perhaps we’ll have the chance to play again during Alumni Weekend. When, you ask? Please mark your calendars for May 8 and 9! Programming: There is a lot of fun in store for Alumni Weekend 2020. On Friday night, we’ll gather in Boston for some complimentary food and drinks to kickoff the weekend. On Saturday, we’ll head to campus for lunch, food trucks, sports games, time to catch up with our favorite faculty members, a chapel service, an awards presentation and an all-alumni dinner with dancing to cap things off. This will give us plenty of opportunities to catch up and reminisce about the good old days!
Join us Friday!
Our class will gather on our own in Southie on Friday to kick-off reunion! Come to Coppersmith (40 West 3rd Street, Boston): Open bar and complimentary appetizers, 7 to 9 p.m.
Accommodation: Brooks has reserved room blocks with discounted rates at some area hotels. The hotel recommendation for our class is The Marlowe Hotel in Cambridge. To book a room there, please click here and reference the “Brooks School room block.” To check out the other hotels with room blocks, please click here.
Transportation: The "bus from Boston" will leave The Marlowe on Saturday at 11 a.m. and return there following the All-Alumni Reception on campus. If you'd like to take the bus one-way or round-trip, please sign-up when you register for the weekend.
Class Gift: As alumni, it is important for us to give back to the school that gave us so much and helped shape who we are today. Last year, our class reached 21 percent participation in the Brooks Fund. We’re very happy that 26 of us contributed last year, but we’d like to improve on that. In honor of our five-year reunion we hope to reach 40 percent participation before June 30, when the fiscal year closes. We just need 17 more classmates to contribute -- so close!
That’s all for now. You will hear from us in the coming months with more information, but in the meantime please reach out to your friends and get excited! This is going to be an amazing weekend filled with emotions, memories and laughter. Let us know if you have any questions or ideas. Also, let us know if there are any specific former faculty that our class should specially invite.
All the best,
Sathvik Sudireddy '15, on behalf of the class of 2015 reunion committee
