Hello class of 2014,

The countdown is on for our five-year reunion happening this May! Can you believe it? It feels like just yesterday that we were enjoying our classmates' senior speeches, stressing about college applications and singing "Leaving on a Jet Plane" at our Boo-Hoo Chapel.

Alumni Weekend will be the perfect time to reminisce and reconnect with old classmates and teachers! We’ll get to visit all of our favorite places on campus and check out new spaces like the Center for the Arts. Please mark your calendars for May 17-18 and plan to attend!

There is a lot of fun in store for Alumni Weekend. On the Friday night of reunion, we’ll kick off the weekend by gathering at Coppersmith in Boston for an open bar and appetizers. On Saturday, we’ll head to campus for a busy day and evening. There will be an alumni in the arts career panel, a big lunch with dessert food trucks, our own cornhole set-up, Brooks athletics competitions, a chapel service and awards presentation, and an all-alumni dinner with dancing to cap things off.

Accommodations and Transportation:
Brooks has reserved room blocks with discounted rates in some area hotels. Our class hotel recommendation is the Kimpton Onyx in Boston. To book a room there, please click here. We also recommend looking into Airbnb options in the North End/West End/Beacon Hill area of Boston if you prefer that over a hotel. On Saturday, bus transportation will be provided from Boston to Brooks late in the morning and then back to Boston that night. When registration opens in March, be sure to indicate if you’re interested in taking the bus it’s a great option!

Class Gift:
Remember five years ago when 96 percent of our class participated in our senior class gift?! That was impressive. Our goal this year is to have at least half of our class make a donation to the Brooks Fund. Gifts of all sizes add up to help Brooks continue to be a great place. Brooks Giving Day is on February 11, 2019, and that would be a great time to make a gift online or through Venmo (@Brooksschool), but making a donation at any time in the next six months will help our class reach its goal! If you haven’t already, we hope you’ll join us in supporting the school.

You will hear from us in the coming months about more details, but in the meantime please reach out to your friends and let’s get excited! If you have any ideas or details you’d like to help with, let us know! Any thoughts can be directed to Carly Churchill '10 in the alumni office, as well.

Lastly, this is our Class of 2014 Facebook Group check it out and request to join. We’re looking forward to being with everyone this spring!
