Hello class of 2009,

The countdown is on for our 10th reunion this May! Can you believe it? Seems like we were just at a student center dance listening to T-Pain and Flo Rida, grabbing breakfast muffins before 1st period, and singing "Leaving on a Jet Plane" at our Boo-Hoo Chapel.

Alumni Weekend will be the perfect time to reminisce and reconnect with old classmates and teachers! We’ll get to visit all of our favorite places on campus and check out new spaces, like the Center for the Arts. Please mark your calendars for May 17-18 and plan to attend!

There is a lot of fun in store for Alumni Weekend. On Friday night of reunion, we’ll gather from 7 to 10 p.m. at The Point in Boston for some food and drinks (cash bar) to kickoff the weekend. On Saturday, we’ll head to campus for a busy day and evening. There is a bus from and to Boston on Saturday, so that takes care of transportation if you’re interested in a ride! Saturday has a lot going on including a big lunch with dessert food trucks, an alumni in the arts career panel, the usual Brooks athletics competitions, a chapel service and awards presentation, and an all-alumni dinner with dancing to cap things off.

Accommodations and Transportation:
Brooks has reserved room blocks with discounted rates in some area hotels. Our class hotel recommendation is the Kimpton Onyx in Boston. To book a room there, please click here. To check out the other hotels with room blocks, please click here. We also recommend looking into Airbnb options in the North End/West End/Beacon Hill area of Boston if you prefer that over a hotel.

Class Gift:
Last year our class contributed to the Brooks Fund, the school’s annual fund, with a 22 percent participation rate. This year, in honor of our 10-year reunion we hope to reach 30 percent participation before June 30, when the fiscal year closes. Brooks Giving Day is on February 11, 2019, which would be a great time to make a gift online or through Venmo (@Brooksschool), but making a donation at any time in the next six months will help our class reach its goal! If you haven’t already, we hope you’ll join us in supporting the school.

You will hear from us in the coming months with more information, but in the meantime please reach out to your friends and let’s get excited! If you have any ideas or details you’d like to help with, let us know! Any thoughts can be directed to Carly Churchill '10 in the alumni office, as well.
