Hello Brooks School class of 1979,

The countdown is on for our 40th reunion this May! Can you believe it? It feels like just yesterday that we are all graduating and preparing to head off to college. Well here we are 40 years later, so let’s have some fun and get together back on campus this spring.

Alumni Weekend will be the perfect time to reconnect! We’ll get to visit our favorite places on campus, as well as check out new spaces like the Center for the Arts. Our goal is to get a big group back to North Andover, and of course, spouses and family members are welcome, too. No matter if you take a plane, train, automobile, or Trombly bus, we hope to see you. Please mark your calendars for May 17-18 and plan to attend!

Programming: There is a lot of fun in store for our reunion. On Friday night, we’ll gather at the Lanam Club for some food and beverages to kickoff the weekend. On Saturday, we’ll be on campus for a busy day and evening. The programming includes an alumni arts career panel, chapel service and awards presentations, Brooks athletic events and an all-alumni dinner and dancing to cap things off. A tentative itinerary can be found here

Accommodations: Brooks has reserved room blocks with discounted rates at hotels in Andover and Boston. Our class hotel recommendation is the Courtyard Marriott in Andover. To see all options, please go here. There will be a shuttle offered to campus ahead of the evening activities and then back to the Andover hotels on Saturday night.

You will hear from us in the coming months about more details, so in the meantime, reach out to your friends and get excited! If you have any ideas or details you’d like to help with, let us know.

Here is our Class of 1979 Facebook Group; check it out and request to join. We’re looking forward to being with everyone this spring!
