UPDATE (March 26, 2020):

Considering the recent CDC recommendations and restrictions placed on many cities, we have decided to postpone Alumni Weekend. We will be in touch when we have information about a future date to invite you back to campus to celebrate with your classmates.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out. For those of you who have already registered for the weekend, we will be in touch. Specific questions can be directed toward the member of our office handling your class, listed below. Thank you for your support and understanding during this time, as our extended school community together navigates these uncharted waters.

Dear class of 1975,

Our 45th reunion committee is working hard to make this YOUR reunion at Brooks! Members Fleming, Murray, Finneran and “Giving Day Abbott” welcome your input and involvement as to what you'd like your experience to be.

For instance, despite our advanced years, there are still masters we could invite to join us at dinner on Friday night; additionally, there are current coaches of the teams you played for who might be available. There are also classmates who might like to share with us what they have been up to professionally. We are open to suggestions. Send your ideas to any of the email addresses at the bottom of this note.

For your planning, Alumni Weekend kicks off the morning of Friday, May 8, and commences with a farewell brunch in the dining hall on Sunday, May 10. We will have a class dinner on Friday night at a location TBD — probably in nearby Andover (Mr. Finneran is on the case). A detailed schedule for the whole weekend is forthcoming.

ACCOMODATIONS: Brooks has negotiated rates at three hotels in the attached link. Our guess is that most classmates will arrange for a hotel in Andover or Boston on Thursday, May 7, and in Andover on Friday, May 8, through Sunday, May 10. The Doubletree in Andover is where we recommend.

REUNION GIFT: At our last reunion, we ponied up roughly $20,000 for the Brooks Fund. Last year, our class gave $17,000 to the Brooks Fund, with a 55 percent participation rate. We are targeting $25,000 to the Brooks Fund for this reunion. Please join the members of your reunion committee in giving to Brooks School this 45th reunion.

Please note its easy to give to Brooks online or through Venmo (@Brooksschool). Your gift will be counted toward our reunion totals. Or, you can wait until after the first of the year.

Block the dates. Consider giving. More to come.

Your Planning Committee,

Chris Abbott (617-462-0525) | Wisner Murray (781-910-8135)
Bill Finneran (617-899-1886) | Bruce Fleming (609-658-0331)

See Who's Coming ...
