Alumni Weekend Class of 1974

Hello Brooks School Class of 1974,

The countdown is on for our 45th reunion this May. Can you believe it? It feels like just yesterday that we were all wearing jackets and ties to dinner in the old dining hall!

Alumni Weekend will be the perfect time to reconnect with our classmates! We’ll get to visit all of our favorite places on campus, as well as check out new spaces like the Center for the Arts. We’re working on getting some special faculty members back, too. Please mark your calendars for May 17-18 and plan to attend.

There is much to look forward to during Alumni Weekend 2019. On Friday night of the reunion, we’ll gather at Burton's Grill in North Andover at 7 p.m. for food and drinks so we can relax and reminisce together. On Saturday, we’ll be on campus for a busy day and evening. The programming includes an Alumni in the Arts Career Panel, plenty of time to gather as a class, a Chapel service and awards presentation, a number of Brooks athletic events and a special dinner for all reunion classes and their guests. Please click here for the tentative schedule.

Brooks has reserved room blocks with discounted rates at hotels in both Andover and Boston. We recommend that our class book rooms at the Courtyard Marriott in Andover. To book a room there with the Brooks rate, click here. To look into the other options, please click here.

Class Gift:
During this reunion year, we hope that you’ll consider joining us in supporting the school by making a donation. During our last reunion in 2014, we had a 32 percent participation rate in donating to the Brooks Fund, the school’s annual fund. This year we would like to exceed that and leverage our 45th reunion to try to hit 45 percent participation! No matter the size of a gift, our collective support will make a difference in the lives of current Brooks students many of whom are just like we were so many years ago. Please click here to make your gift online.

You will hear from us in the coming months about more details, but in the meantime reach out to your friends and let’s get excited! If you have any ideas or details you’d like to help with, let us know. Any thoughts can be directed to Carly Churchill in the alumni office as well.

We’re looking forward to reconnecting with as many of you as possible this spring, and if you are not able to join in person, then please express your class spirit by participating in the class gift!

Your classmates,
Henry Camp, Pradeep Kapadia, Bill Loughlin and Ross Povenmire
