Dear Classmates,

This spring marks 50 years since our Brooks School graduation. Although the complications presented by COVID-19 have forced us to postpone our in-person celebration this spring, a group of us have already started to reach out to our class. This very preliminary contact has shown that there is real enthusiasm for reconnecting with each other. Next spring in 2022, our (postponed) 50th milestone reunion on campus should be a great event for us to be together for the first time in a long time, and celebrate as a class.

This spring, the school is hosting some virtual Alumni Weekend events in May. We invite everyone to join our class of ’71 zoom call on Thursday, May 13, at 7 p.m. EST. It is our hope that this virtual gathering will be a good opportunity to have a little catch up and get excited about seeing each other in person next year. Bring a beer, glass of wine or drink of your choice to the Zoom session and come say hello! Please let us know you are planning to attend by filling out the form below.

Our in-person 50th reunion celebration next year will be held in June (exact ’22 date still TBD). The classes of 1970 and 1972 will also be on campus celebrating their 50th reunions during the same weekend, making it possible for us to see even more old friends. In the meantime, we challenge you all to reconnect with each other and the school, catch up and share a few stories about the last 50 years! Great things are happening at Brooks today. Make sure you check out the school’s website or social media pages to get a quick glimpse into life on campus in 2021.

If you want to help with the planning, or have questions about our reunion, please be in touch with any of us directly, through Stow or with our reunion liaison Emily French Breakey ’03

Sincerely,
Class of 1971 Reunion Committee
