Dear classmates,

It's been 65 years since we were together at Brooks. This coming May, we have an opportunity to return and celebrate our Brooks experiences, while renewing our connections to the school and to each other. We are beginning to pull together plans for this weekend and we need your help. If you want to get involved, please contact Director of Annual Giving Lisa Zopatti.

During the weekend of May 11-12, Brooks will welcome us back to campus. You will find several buildings and spaces that time has not altered, but you will also see the benefits gained from many alumni and friends of the school. Depending on how long it has been since you were last in North Andover, the following may look new to you: Luce Library, Robert Lehman Art Center, Wilder Dining Hall, the student center, the athletic center, the renovated Danforth Gym, the renovated Frank D. Ashburn Chapel, the Science Center and the new dorm, Chace House. Some will have fun searching for Peabody. It’s still on campus, we are told, but not in the same spot.

The weekend promises to be filled with great activities like our class dinner on Friday night, celebrating alumni achievements and capping off the weekend with the all-alumni reception on Saturday night. The school will be in session during Alumni Weekend; students will be leading tours around the campus and we will be able to attend classes. Last but not least, alums will be invited to attend a variety of varsity athletic events.

So mark your calendars, book your flights, bring your loved ones and join us in celebrating our 65 years since our Brooks graduation. We would love to see the largest ever gathering of the class of 1953!

Your Reunion Class Chair,
