Join us for a Homecoming @Home event:
Yin Yoga with Cat Lau '12
Sunday, November 15 at 12 p.m. EST
Cat is a holistic practitioner (Reiki Master Teacher, Co-Active Coach) with an approach that blends her ancestral gifts with practical and grounded methods to move participants forward in their healing journey. Through her holistic practices she helps people with emotional healing through reiki, coaching, yin yoga and community.
For this special Brooks alumni class, she will guide participants to release an emotion they’ve been holding onto. Even if you’ve never practiced yin yoga before, all are welcome to participate! The event will be a soft and meditative practice, of long-held floor-based postures, aimed to help us relax and get deeper into our bodies. Cat will always offer alternative postures and you can choose which feels right for you that day.
You will need a yoga mat or a place that you can lay down comfortably, a pillow and blanket. Wireless headphones are always nice, too. To learn more about Cat and her healing offerings, visit her website, catlauhealing.com or her Instagram account.
