Alumni, we’re bringing Brooks to you this year. How? A series of virtual events during the month of November that you won’t want to miss.
November 7 - 23
While we can't welcome visitors to campus at this time, we’re happy to bring parts of campus to you. We also have exciting offerings that showcase the skills and passions of some of our alumni. Check out the schedule and details below.
Please note: All sessions will be on Zoom, so be sure you’ve downloaded the app to your computer or mobile device ahead of time. All sessions will be recorded, so please register even if you can't make the live event. We will email the recording to all participants.

November 7 — Virtual 5K
Kickoff Homecoming @Home with our virtual 5K, to be completed anytime during the day. You can order a t-shirt for the event designed by Gabi Garozzo ‘21!
November 9 — Talk with John Packard
Enjoy a Zoom conversation with Head of School John Packard, hear about how school is going and ask any questions you may have, at 7 p.m.
November 11 — Movie Screening
Join Brooks' Alumni Allyship Action Network to watch and discuss a film, at 7 p.m.
November 12 — Class Agent Training
Learn about becoming a class agent and how you can help Brooks reach our goals this year for the Brooks Fund, at 9 a.m.
November 13 — Happy Hour and Wine Discussion with Evan Merriam ‘11
Tune in with your favorite beverage or a wine that Evan has recommended to talk about the winemaking process (a 21+ event), at 8 p.m.
November 15 — Yin Yoga with Cat Lau '12
Holistic yogi and Reiki Master Teacher Cat Lau will guide participants through a meditative practice of floor-based postures promoting relaxation, at 12 p.m.
November 16 — HIIT Workout with Kat Barker Bacon ‘10
The Portland, Maine fitness instructor will lead participants through a HIIT (high intensity interval training) fusion class that will challenge you and leave you feeling stronger inside and out, at 6 p.m.
November 17 — Learning with Leigh Perkins '81
Experience English Teacher Leigh Perkins' World Literature class, learn about the evolution of the fourth-form English curriculum, meet students and hear their perspective on the course, at 7 p.m.
November 19 — Meet with Affinity Groups
If you identify with any of the following affinity spaces, feel free to drop-in for an informal meet-and-greet with current students and their advisors: Alianza Latina, Asian Student Alliance, Black Student Union and the Gender & Sexuality Alliance, at 9 a.m.
November 19 — Guided Mindfulness Moment
Take a thoughtful lunch break with Brooks' Director of Student Wellness Steph Holmes, who will lead a guided mindfulness session, at 12 p.m.
November 19 — Class Agent Training

November 21 — Fire Trail "Walk"
Take a virtual stroll along the beloved campus lakeside trail with a pre-recorded video, released at 10 a.m.
November 23 — COVID-19 Resiliency: An Alumni Career Panel
Hear Brooks alumni discuss how they’ve successfully pivoted in their careers during this interactive session moderated by broadcaster and former professional athlete Charlie Davies '04, at 7 p.m.
