Tours at Brooks are one-on-one, giving prospective students — and their parents or guardians — a relaxed opportunity to ask questions about every aspect of campus life, from academics and dining hall meals to dorm living, the day-student experience, weekends and afternoon activities.

Inside Classrooms & More

The campus tour takes about 45 minutes and guides visitors through all the main areas of Brooks, including our academic buildings, Center for the Arts, college counseling office, library, Chapel, dining hall, student center, athletic centers and dorms.

During their visit, each prospective student will interview with a member of Brooks' admission team. After interviewing each prospective student, the admission team member will follow up with their parents or guardians. Families can plan to be in the admission office for about an hour in total.

Set on 270 acres overlooking Lake Cochichewick, Brooks offers students a campus as expansive as the ideas they explore and futures they imagine.

Art students sketch en plein air at the boathouse. Physics classes launch rockets across open fields. English seminars also venture outdoors to discuss naturalist poetry among the trees.

Walk in the spaces where our students collaborate and create and you’ll begin to understand what it feels like to live and learn in the Brooks community.

When can I visit?

We encourage all prospective students, if possible, to visit Brooks in the fall or winter for a campus tour and interview before their expected year of enrollment. For those prospective students unable to visit in person, we offer virtual interviews. (See our Applying to Brooks page for all the details).

Monday: 8:15 a.m. (Interview First), 10:55 a.m. and 1:15 p.m.
Tuesday: 8:15 a.m. (Virtual Interviews Only), 10:55 a.m. and 1:15 p.m.
Wednesday: 8:50 a.m. and 10:05 a.m.
Thursday: 9:15 a.m. (Virtual Interviews Only), 10:55 a.m. and 1:15 p.m.
Friday: 8:15 a.m. (Interview First), 10:55 a.m. and 1:15 p.m.
Saturday: 9:15 a.m. (Interview First), 10:05 a.m. Out-of-state candidates are given priority in the scheduling of Saturday campus visits.
