Join us for our annual Winter Concert! There will be performances by the Jazz Band, Advanced Jazz Band, Chorus and Chamber Orchestra, plus a big combined holiday-themed number at the end featuring all these groups plus our two rock bands. The concert is open to all members of the extended Brooks community.

Come rock out in the Black Box Theater! All are welcome to the one-night-only event featuring performances from Brooks' Rock Band and Advanced Rock Band. Both groups have been working hard all term to be able to present their full set lists to you. Come support our student musicians! Seating is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Getting into the holiday spirit, students, teachers and staff are treated to a winter celebration of sweets and raffle prizes by our generous parents!

On Community Weekends, all Brooks boarding students are on campus for events and activities. As always, day students are encouraged to participate in weekend activities. Go Brooks!

Students complete their final coursework of the first semester from December 13 through December 18 (required of all students) before campus closes for Winter Break on December 19.

Winter Term

Winter Term is an intense, three-week, one-topic course of study held each January. Puttting into practice the concept of “depth over breadth,” the single-course structure of Winter Term allows students and faculty to work together even more closely than they do in regular classes.

Exchange Program

Since 1986, Brooks students have participated in exchanges with schools all around the world. A program that started initially with schools in Kenya and South Africa has expanded to include Botswana, Hungary, Peru and Scotland.
