Community Service

Students may elect community service as a full-time afternoon activity Monday through Friday. Weekly activities include:

In addition to the afternoon program, there are many opportunities for students to be involved in community service:

  • contribute to Lazarus House’s Hike for Hope in the fall
  • sponsor blood drives on campus
  • collect canned goods on Parents Weekend for local food pantries
  • raise money to buy turkeys for a local organization at Thanksgiving
  • help bring Christmas gifts to families in need
  • volunteer at Habitat for Humanity’s Youth United Build
  • participate in North Andover’s Earth Day clean-up
  • send a bus to Boston for the Walk for Hunger
  • sponsor an on-campus spring run/walk to benefit a selected charity
  • maintain a year-long clothing collection bin which benefits the thrift shop at Lazarus House
  • work at local farms that offer equitation therapy programs and a local hospital
