Visual and Performing Arts
The arts are alive and center stage at Brooks.

The visual arts curriculum allows the novice artist to tap unknown creative talents while giving experienced students a platform for serious study in their medium of choice. Theater productions capture imaginations three time a year, as plays and musicals tackle the traditional and the contemporary in a range broad enough to include both Shakespeare and The Laramie Project. The diverse selection of music courses, ensemble groups and private lessons provide students with the opportunity to make music a significant part of their lives.

Brooks' on-campus gallery, the Robert Lehman Art Center, attracts exhibitions of exceptional educational quality. From kinetic sculptor Tim Prentice ’49 to the iconic art of Andy Warhol, exhibits are incorporated into a variety of academic courses to enhance student appreciation and understanding of the artists' work.
