Applying to Brooks

Campus Visit and Interview
Visiting the School is an important part of the application process. Please call the Admission Office to make an appointment for your visit to campus – Monday through Friday and on Saturdays during the school year. Saturday campus interviews are reserved for out-of-state candidates only. It is in the interest of all applicants to visit, if possible, during the fall or winter prior to the year of expected enrollment. If an on-campus interview is not possible, please contact the Admission Office for more information about a telephone interview.

Testing
Ninth, tenth and eleventh grade candidates should take the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT) in November, December or January. Our school code for SSAT is 1882. PSAT and SAT results reported in the current academic year are acceptable for eleventh grade applicants. Candidates for whom English is a second language should take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) in addition to the SSAT. Our school code for TOEFL is 4442. If you still need information on any of the tests, call the Admission Office. Please be sure to request, at the time the test is taken, that the test results be sent directly to Brooks School.
