How to Apply

Campus Visit and Interview
Visiting the school is an important part of the application process. Please contact the Admission Office to make an appointment for your visit to campus by calling (978) 725-6271 or 6272. Campus visits and appointments are offered Monday through Friday and on Saturdays during the school year. Saturday campus interviews are reserved for out-of-state candidates only. It is in the interest of all applicants to visit, if possible, during the fall or winter prior to the year of expected enrollment.

2015 Application
All applicants must submit an application for admission. We encourage you to apply online by clicking on the Gateway to Prep Schools button or SSATB button on this page. Applications are due by January 15, 2015.

Teacher Recommendations
You must submit a recommendation from both your current English teacher and your current mathematics teacher. In addition, an optional recommendation form may be filled out by a person of your choice. Please distribute your recommendation forms to your teachers in the fall.

Ninth, tenth and eleventh grade candidates should take the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT) in September, October, November, December or January. Our school code for SSAT is 1882. PSAT and SAT results reported in the current academic year are acceptable for eleventh grade applicants. Candidates for whom English is a second language should take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) in addition to the SSAT. Our school code for TOEFL is 4442. If you still need information on any of the tests, call the Admission Office. Please be sure to request, at the time the test is taken, that the test results be sent directly to Brooks School.
